Ditto. I was a huge fan of technic. I loved the motor kit (anyone remember the grey brick with the 6 or 8 AA batteries inside?)
Nowadays Lego is all about marketing of other things (e.g. Star Wars, Batman, etc) and whilst it's cool, I think Lego needs to go old school again.

Yes !
I recently dug out my bag of old lego and gave it to my boy to play with... He loves it... We built a car using that motor just the other day Mine takes 3x C size

I agree... but their technics range is still great, and the construction and City range that Crane above is from my boy will be into for sure.... *I'll be into... hehehehe
