How do we know that we aren't already driving Protons rebadged as Mitsu's ??? Would explain a few interior/exterior inferiorities with the CJ's. (rattles, paint quality, tyres etc)

As Ofey said.......Face it, its a Proton :lol:

I know I'm not cos Proton are made in Malaysia and my car was made Nippon!

Yea could see this comin, there's a couple of proton GTI's around that were the mirage base driving around my area for years.

But I hope they do change the styling to something different than the cj lancer if they do start marketing it here or in Asia pacific.

They will be slightly different...

Reminds me of Tolley Challis, He ran an EVOIII badged as a Proton Wira in the Asia Pacific Rally championship (maybe even WRC) I think it was even homologated as a Proton...
