What DONT you like about your Lancer?

Definitely road noise, high fuel consumption and lack of steering wheel reach adjustment at the top! Let's not get started with the CVT and it's lack of power off the line and lack of torque through the rev range... but it is what it is, a first car. Someday, a Golf R...

Following the above, I think the most annoying is also the ultra slow steering rack! 3 and 1/4 turns side to side is utterly ridiculous! I drove tested a Golf R and you only need to turn 1/2 to do a U turn - loved it so much!! Definitely my next car.

We are putting a VW designed from the ground up that means "racing" to the lancer that was designed from the ground up to a rock solid reliable run around and aimed at a very specific price point and we wonder why the golf is heads and shoulders above the lancer ?
A slower steering rack is by no means an obstacle , it gives you much finer control then a quick rack any day if the week

True. It's a progressive electronic steering though, meaning it adapts to your input, providing all the control you need. The more you turn the more the wheels turn exponentially, based on input and speed, so can do a U turn with your hands on 9 and 3. You have to do a test drive, incredible. The AWD is magnificent too. It just makes you appreciate it even more coming from a Lancer.

I'm more then happy with my lancer.
Yes I won't beat a Ferrari or Lamborghini , however, they if they can afford those cars they can afford the fines that goes with it also
