First of all sorry for my bad english...

Well, as u know maybe...we have a problem with a neighberhood country who wants called "Macedonia"! As u know also..Macedonia, was, it is and will be GREEK for ever!
So, a big mistake we think made from official site of mitsubishi-motors.com when u click on Europe map, u will see a country with name "MACEDONIA" (it's like we say that Sydney will be on New Zeland!!!). If u brothers, here, wants a little bit help for correct that, please send an e-mail like below with change it with your name of your club!

That is a "correct" thing to History!

So, here it is:

"We,the members from Lancerclub Greece,would like to inform you about something on your website that has really upset us and its a sad mistake.According to your website F.Y.R.O.M (which is the correct name) is been written down as Macedonia. Macedonia is, was, and will be a Greek name and state.A simple example is,how it would be like if Tokyo or Osaka were refered and written down as Taiwan's states?We would like you to take care of that issue as soon as possible and correct this mishap with the right information because this is really a very unpleasant situation for us.

World politics. Everyone should be aware of the world around them. If you look back in History though you will find Macedonia was a free state separate from Greece. Sure, it was on the greek peninsula but it did at once stage have independence.

Perhaps they just want that back?

Thats 'cause your not Greek. If you were Greek then you would now it all, like every other Greek. You see according to them, they are right and other countries/governments are wrong, including Japan and Mitsubishi Motors.

Its a very big politically fueled debate that wars have been fought over and when ever this topic gets raised all hell breaks loose.... Thats why I said that "This is not the forum to discuss these issues."

I dont really know what the issue is so i aint going to do anything about it for the moment. I personally dont have a problem with it being here, but if this causes any issues with racism or anything like that, please report it straight away and the topic will be dealt with accordingly.

It's a strange thing this thing about belonging.

I'm sure Cypriots will have their 2 cents of whether they belong to Greece or not.

I'm really keen to ask the average joe on the street in Macedonia what he identifies as. If a large number say they're Greek, then perhaps a National referendum is in order so they can rightfully feel part of the motherland again. You can't ask Greek people if Macedonia is part of Greece, it's not fair.

So drawing this as an analogy, this is a car club. Not a political forum. The average joe here did not join this forum for political reasons but to enjoy the company of fellow car enthusiasts to discuss issues pertaining to our car. If you feel strongly about your stand, please seek a political forum with an avenue for you to sell your ideas. This is not the place for it.

Simply, this is a car club and this topic has no place on this forum. As such I'm locking this thread.
