I'm one who hangs onto a car for a long time . If I buy it from new lol .
Normally I drive my 20 minutes to work a bit longer home .
I have driven a couple of times to Halls Gap from Adelaide. Won't be doing any long drives .
Now when I fill up I go by what I used to put in my cars when I was married on a tight budget 50 bucks .
With this weeks tank cost me 52
Now I don't always fill up when it's low . But if I do it's a two week period roughly so 50 bucks over two weeks ain't bad IMHO
And after my last falcon was costing me 1000 bucks a service . Gets like that every service I may well look at upgrading or if I win Xloto

I had the first ever ford laser a rebadged Mazda 323 had that for over 20 years couldn't even use it as a trade in .
Bought a sigma made in the same year . That just about put me off Mitsubishi for life lol . That drank petrol like you wouldn't believe. And it stalled going up a hill in an Adelaide oval car park lmao
Then a 96 duel fuel falcon that had injector issues then my dads AU
Then the Lancer fuel consumption improved from all of the above
Lmao and my lancer and falcon are basically the same length funny that
