Phenomenal difference! The car just feels more responsive overall. The CVT isn't sluggish anymore, it idles better, feels smoother, exhaust sounds smoother, seems to cruise/roll along more without needing to touch the accelerator and it definitely feels more snappy, like it wants to be driven properly. Before it felt a little sluggish and I could put my flat to the floor and the CVT wouldn't respond, it'd be like "ohh you want to go? No really? Really... Ohh ok then...". Now theres instant rev climb when I put my foot to the floor in CVT.
I hadn't done any pre-merlin mods but I did get a different CAT installed today. Considering the tune was yesterday I wish I had have done the CAT before the tune but according to Merlin it wouldn't matter as-long as I don't do anything else. He did say that I can also do an intake mod without needing to change the tune too.

Yesterday I detailed the car. Started off with a wash with polish angel glissante wash, then a clay bar, then a mild cut with Prima swirl, then a finishing polish and glaze with Prima amigo, then 2 coats of polish angel master sealant and finished with polish angel connoisseur carnauba spray wax.
The results speak for themselves.

Just got back from the Rally cars gathering in Caloundra for the QLD round this weekend, nice mix of cars including a few Lancers/EVOs and even one Mirage!
Funny that none of them had a big ass 'TOW' stickers on the bumpers.
Planning on going out to Imbil in the morning to check out some of the action!
