I was going to buy a white CJ, but saw the metallic blue in the showroom and 'had a moment...'
The white ones show up mods better (and you can get away with a red Mitzi logo up front...!) - gloss black roof next for yours I reckon.
I've got the Talon sitting in my spare room, ready for a pre-fit on Saturday (hopefully) and painting next week!

my talon kit isnt actually painted
I have been temped with a gloss black roof, but im thinking of doing the stripes from the 311rs ( http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com ... -x-628.jpg )

I took the bumper off todo the headlights, and it made painting it easier, but you could paint the front without removing it. It's a flexi primer on the plastics and and etch on the grille, then a pain on the front, I don't like the semi permanent of plastidip.

Thank you, it's an MR so I had a chrome shroud, so I used a clear primer and then a metallic fleck coat then a tinted deep red clear coat over the top so the chrome still comes through.
