Has anyone ordered items from Rainbow Pen and had trouble getting the items? The fault is not from him he sent it within a day of getting the payment and gave me the tracking number and everything.
It’s just I was meant to get it over a week ago and called Australia post to see if they know anything and the lady told me that customs/Australia post has returned the package back to the sender and she couldn't tell me why and the best part is they sent it back by boat so it can take up to 3 months for the package to get back to him, I am kinda ticked cause I spend over $700 and now I might have to wait 3 months or more before I get my stuff, if I get my stuff. Has anyone else had any issues?

Wow thats horrible news. Ive used him twice and have received my items in around 10 working days both times.

I've purchased from Rainbow Pen before without issues.
But before laying the blame on Rainbow Pen or anyone involved, as Jake has mentioned, you should probably find out why did it get shipped back. And on top of that by sea? If it was actually sent by air in the 1st place.

Ive never got anything through them so i cant help you with delivery, quality etc
But....i havnt gotten anything fron them because i asked for a price on one of there products at the beginning of February and i finally got a reply at the end of April...so i thought if that is any base for what there service or anything is like it isnt a good sign.
Wait for it...I sent them a reply thanking them for there "Late" reply and that i had purchased the product elsewhere, to wich i got a reply on the 18th of July lol. Anyway...that has been my experience with them...I could have forgiven the first late reply as things do get lost etc... But 2 in a row, plus the fact i brought there lateness to there attention???
BTW...They may have requested "By boat" to save on there return cost i would say.

Customs normally contact the recipient if there is any issues and a email / phone number is attached to the label etc. And with the order being $700, no import tax should be charged anyway. SO who knows what has happened. If you have the tracking number, contact customs I'd say (assume in Sydney?) and ask what is going on and why it was sent back. Also advise Rainbow Pen about this and maybe they can do some tracking their end.
I've never ordered anything from them, but talked to them many times via facebook, and they were quick in responding usually..

It sounds like its a customs fault. Maybe they used wood or an organic material to package the item, often wood is used for support if its a bumper or large body part. Australian customs will not let woods come through from other countries unless it is treated. Just a idea of why it may have been returned.

So spoke to Aus post who blames customs and I spoke to customs who blame Aus post. They refused to tell me what the reason was that it got sent back. They said that if it was a prohibited item like wood they would have sent me a letter to notify me, so recon they there was something wrong with the address even thought I checked it before he sent it. Anyways Rainbow was really helpful he called Malaysia post who said that it should be back with him within 15 days so he said as soon as he gets it he will send it back to me and he will pay for the postage cost so I don't have to. Even though he's English isn't very good he tried he's best to help me out so that we can figure out what happened but he said it's not the first time it happened with Aus post. So not sure what they did but all good I am happy waiting a month instead of 3 like Aus post said. Arggg so ticked at them!!!
