Black tail lights are 289 new, negotiable. 250 used seems a stretch

I got messaged about that Evo X MR.
I can smell a scam when I see it.
Amusing to see how excited people get over a scam.
Why would you sell a car for 12,500, when the last two ebay auctions went for around $30,000 - if people are willing to offer that much?! Absolute nonsense.
I bit of nifty google-fu gives you the answers.
Car was advertised by Lansvale Holden on around April 30 2013 for 39,888 excl on-roads with 80,248kms
Source: Google cached
User called khangtr (real name probably khan) listed it on eBay with 84,950 on the clock. An mere 4702kms since the dealer sale in 2.5 months.
First eBay listingpassed in for $30,257.57 (probably a non paying bidder)
Second auctio went for $29,973.00 only finished a day or so ago.
Seller seems to flip a lot of cars (I doubt he's a private seller) - look at the seller feedback of all the cars he's sold of late! Some of the feedback shows some buyers have had the odd bad experience with cars needing repairs when listed as "OK".
Now we get to the gumtree listing
The seller is now a female called "Caitlin" and the phone number goes to a company called "C Group Security" in Parramatta. The Ebay listing says the car is in Liverpool, Gumtree listing says it's in wentworthville.
I'd say the ebay listing was legit, the gumtree is someone who's just copy pasted the ebay listing and using it as a scam. Steer clear.
An Evo X with that many kays and age would go for around $30-33,000 - don't worry, I've been looking at Evo X pricing the last 6 months. That's a fair and reasonable price. Not 12,500. Move on...

Good detective work "X". Makes you wonder why people are up to doing this stuff.Saw my neighbors boat on Gumtree last week only problem was that he hasn't got it for sale.HE hasn't even advertised it.They must have come into the yard and photographed it ! .The boys in blue are looking into it.
