ok these are UK regulations - but worth a read - they even make mention of "no reflective tapes in place of reflector"

The fact that when you use the windscreen washers (a rarity, but sometimes it must be done) the wipers cycle one too many times -_-

The first time gets most of the water..
The second time cleans up anything left behind, leaving everything nice and dry.
The third wipe skips and stutters across the dry glass, leaving behind smeary droplets of water....it drives me insane!

Yeah I hate this, too. But MMCS-equipped cars get the option of the wipers not turning on when the washers are engaged. Can't it be adjusted in non-MMCS Lancers?

The back seat is a strange angle and is hard to get a capsule to sit flatish in relation to the back of the seat.

in my 2008 lancer at least, its made for america so the sound controls are on the wrong side with the tuning on the right (drivers side) and the volume on the left so when i want to change the volume i have to reach way over the other side, its annoying

luckily its just the se so i dont have ipod connectivity which sounds like its crap anyway! (i just use a fm tuner) and dont have to switch to aux everytime i start, its always on the radio station!

What I hate most is that you can't purchase aftermarket tail lights for the sportback. It almost makes me regret not buying a sedan - but there's no way I could pass up the rear wiper, extra boot space and fun handles that fold the back seats down from the boot :P
