Yep, well not the Aussie made cars, but the Holden Astra and Ford Focus does as well as all the other stuff. A little ice symbol comes up on the dash.

Most Toyota models have had digital dashes since 2005, 2006. The Yaris, Echo, and Prius (I can name those 3 for certainty) and presumably more all have digidashes...... Most small model hatchbacks - Jazz, Echo, Yaris, Barina etc - currently have the dashes installed in a recessed cavity in the center of the dash - the layout appeals more to female drivers (the most common buyer of hatchbacks) due to the increased vision (the lack of the raised dash obviously) and the easy to read speedo.

Not to necro.. and I know I'm doing this.. but thought it might be prudent to keep the info together..

Was there ever any news or has anyone seen or heard of any Digital Dash/Digital Speedo mods for the CJ?

Had a digital dash in my 84 Ford TX5 Ghia. It was the rage then it died out. Loved it then and would like one now.

If you have an ELM327 OBDII adapter and an android phone, you can use the "Torque" app, it has a specific "Heads Up Display" setting that reverses the screen image so you can bounce it off the windscreen. It is laggy, due to the refresh rate on the bluetooth and over the OBD interface, and I'm sure the Lancer's windscreen is laminated doubleglazed like the colt, so the resulting image appears duplicated :(

*Lightbulb* If anyone can has a 3D phone, try use the app with 3D glasses, does it look three dimensional on the windscreen, or 6 dimensional and a mess?

The effectiveness of the image on windscreen is also dependent on your mobile phone screen brightness.
