Began as a determined dream by a young Croatian guy (Mate Rimac - Founder of Rimac Automobili) who used his old M3 BMW (Evaluation Vehicle) as a Test/Experimental Vehicle.

The only downside I can see in those numbers is the weight. But with 1.4g lateral grip who cares.

Even the range is good. Although charge times make electric cars poor track-day cars (by my maths at max output its range is 165km not counting regen braking). I wonder if you need to worry about overheating in a car like this too.

Quite amazing though, and exciting for the future, although what will the world be like if most cars were near-silent :(
