Met Merlin yesterday for a tune. A nicer man you will not meet. The little red devil runs much smoother, now to see how the fuel goes.

hello metal

had a scare after installing, went WOT in 3rd gear and heard a loud noise. Got crazy knocksum 20, 24, 26. not sure what happened. torque peaked at around 3500rpm, dropped before picking up at 5000rp again. Let her rest a litlle went for another 2 runs and only had knocksum 3 max.. phew... i was like wtf... did something blow..

Guessing there was a changing of pants once you got home :P

Any idea? Could the BOV have been momentarily jammed shut? Or the hose kinked? (although that's not likely judging by the picture) Do the logs show anything else going on re boost levels etc that's out of the ordinary?

What BOV did you get Evo IX or X? 2nd hand?

My IX BPV didn't arrive(waited 2 months) so i got a brand new X BPV.. Not sure WTF it was..got back home.. changed my pants and went for another 2 runs which was fine.

Got my BC Racing coilovers installed today. Great product and im amazed how well the car handles now, very impressed! Gonna play around with the height and dampening soon.

Got my BC Racing coilovers installed today. Great suspension and looking forward to playing around with them. Will hopefully change the height and dampening in the near future. Trying to work out how low I can go cos atm im around 150mm off the ground.
