Broken clip!!
Thought i'd finally do the front bumper black out 2day after receiving my vinyl kit and been sitting there for awhile now. Taking off the upper grille was a task, esp the clips.

Hi Alex,
Firstly don't worry about the clips...just go to a Mitsu dealer and its sorted.
Now regarding wrinkles...did you try wet or dry method?
I would highly recommend the 'wet' method...it is very forgiving...and once you have the vinyl in place...and squeegeed the water out...just go over it with a heat gun/hair dryer...and wallla!! Wrinkles gone!

Hey guys, i took out the top grille which the mitsubishi sign is attachced to so that i could fold the left over vinyl into the gap between the bumper and the grille.
I think there are 4 clips/latch in total on the back of the grille. So i broke one, but i think it wont be a big prob since theres 4 screws that holds the grille to the bumper.
i used the wet method with soapy water and also used a hairdryer. But i think its just me being clumsy. Now that i look at the job, could barely tell its dodgy.
