Unknowen kms with these in & all have Burn marks on plug insulator.

We must live in opposite world - I took my car out for a run on the weekend to Warragamba Dam, hoping to see the dam overflow, etc. Ended up travelling on a section of unpaved road. Splattered mud everywhere on the car.
Today, it rained pretty heavily while I was parked at work - open space carpark - free car wash.
Yeah, the waterspots are a downside... no such thing as a free lunch.
What did I do on my car today? I averaged 8.8 l/100km on the commute home. By far my best fuel economy figure. ~35kms trundling through Sydney peak hour traffic, plenty of stop/starts, plenty of idling not going anywhere for minutes at a time, virtually no highway or steady speed cruising, etc. I was in complete grandma mode and never went above 3krpm. My usual consumption is normally the wrong side of 12 l/100km.

Washed my car again this weekend. But it's so hot, and I don't have any shade, so I waited until very late afternoon. By the time I was halfway through it was dark... waxing in the dark is not fun. I woke up and found a bunch of spots where I hadn't polished properly, plus new bird or bug crap all over it. I also completely forgot to even wash down the brake dust from the wheels, sigh.
I'm fighting a losing war. When I don't wash it and it's covered in dust I feel bad. When I do wash it, something horrible happens after, and my co-workers laugh at me for even bothering to do it (after they've let all their new cars "go" and just get filthy).
In other news my housemate bought some Meguiars Wash & Wax and washed his Evo 7 on the weekend too. It came out looking really good, way better than it ever has before. I was sceptical of how good a combo product could be, but it has me thinking maybe I could switch over to save myself lots of time and effort on the two seperate steps. I mean, I'm driving an ES, not a show car or something.
But I think, a day or two later, my properly waxed car (Meguiars Gold Class) held the shine and stuff better than his; then again though my paint is brand new and his is much worse shape to begin with.

After having them sit in my cupboard for 3 months, I finally installed the LED DRL strips on Saturday night.
This is an iPhone photo, but still looks cool.
Glad I did it on Saturday night, as they were ready for action for the FNQ cruise on Sunday.
I've also recently installed new bright LED maplights, and new LED parkers. However I've broken one of the clips that holds the Maplight mount in place. Anyone know where I can get a replacement?
