far out thats crazy. and the stupid thing is if its kids they wont get in much trouble.
i hate the fact that my car is parked in my front yard, where everyone can see it. everytime i have to go away (without my car ) i leave it at my boyfriends place where i know it will be safe.
is this mear ur place eric?

Its a growing trend everywhere and it is mostly done by kids.
The little so-and-so's have got smarter. They know if they do this crap under the age of 12 the most they will get is a sore bum from their parents. The law cant touch them. Under 16 they will just get a good behavior bond/slap on the wrist.
They know they can get away with it.
Broken family is a cop out. Its an act they will put on in front of a judge to get out of any form of punishment and by weekend they are back out doing the exact same crap.
Kids know the difference between right and wrong from around 8 (they have the basic understanding). By 12 they form reasoning for right and wrong so by that age they should be punished to full extent of the law
Or bring in capital punishment from the age of 12 upwards.

agreed. kids these days are feral.
one of the boys in my crew at work is bad for doing shit like this. he's 17 but hes not from a broken family. but from the sounds of things his parents are feral and dont care.
he tells me hes in this gang. there are a lot of gangs involving young kids in adelaide, and they go around the city at night bashing up people. why???cos they can. he also goes on about how they do lots of graffiti. hes knows that what hes doing is wrong but he doesnt care, he knows he can get away with it.

A couple of months ago a few little toe rags broke into the house over the road from my holiday house and set fire to the bathroom. It was noticed before it spread to the rest of the house too much but it is now all smoke and water damaged. It's not just cars unfortunately.
Not much they could do to them either.

Don't get the impression because there is some horrible youth give a bad image for an entire generation. I'm 18, studying at university, constantly give to charity/do charity work and treat people how I would like them to treat me, and my whole group of friends are the same. But its the bad apples that of course will catch the eye of the public and the media.
The problem with the kids that tend to do this stuff their parents will always blame someone else, its never their kids fault, so the kids get away with it and the parents think they are little angels.
Never the less its a shame that these things happen.
