Love the kitchen workbench, complete with a dualshock controller.

How did you get the lights open?

hah ya solid day of playstation and working on the car.
lights are OEM evo x from a wreck.
Was missing the oem HID bulbs and inverter so i got some aftermarket ones
Interestingly enough the ralliart has all the right wiring harnesses, even for the autoleveler function - just need to find a switch for inside.
Instead of the oven, i used a heat gun to open them up.
Paint black - make red shields - re assemble and test

off - its only red from certain angles - doesn't "emit" red light

and lowbeam on - highbeam just drops a gate inside the projector so you get full on HID

gonna do the other one next weekend then hopefully have the leveller switch by then to install it all properly

Everytime I come online here or the other forums, I am reminded that I need to take some pics of my car. Because I'm sure you can appreciate my post would be so much more meaningful with pics...

I've only had my Lancer for a week. I traded-in a Pulsar for it - which was extensively modified and accesorised and I pulled what I could off it before surrendering it. Today I finally cleaned up the garage of 'junk'. Gave my friend the old aftermarket Kenwood stereo, and for giggles I planted the existing twin 12" RF Punch P2 sub box into the Lancer hatch's cargo area. Wow it was a tight fit, less than an inch to the rear parcel shelf, and I got about 15cm of space to the tailgate.

I had a pretty wild stereo in my old car, I'm thinking of installing it in my Lancer. eg. the old 0 gauge cabling and JL 1000/1 amp that draws more power than the car's alternator can produce. But at the same time, I have the factory upgraded RF system that is pretty decent on its own.
