I read in that this will be an exchange system. They are retrofitted into your existing light housing. The idea is that you send your working OEM lights back, so wouldnt be able to do it with a broken one.

Here's a little question I'd like to ask... seems nobody has asked even Sir VRX with all the excitement going on...

Is this ADR approved... seeing as we currently don't have auto levelling and washers, retrofitting these would still make them illegal right :? ?

^
Yes this would be no more legal than sticking HID's in your reflectors.

It would however be more 'safe'.

Correct.

My beef is with the incorrect lenses though, rather than the legality surrounding the washers. hopefully these have proper HID complaint lenses. Halogen projectors do differ from HID projectors.

hi guys, im bringing this topic up.
would like to hear your thoughts and reply.

would any one buy this unit for $950?
the headlights pair cost $950 excluding install
(which is including the headlights not just the internal parts. not just LEDs)
so its DIY on mounting the headlights not pulling apart.

If you use Google well, you will find Nic Cruze who is the owner of CinCity is a conman.

He takes your money but never delivers the product.
He's already taken a few thousands off a number of people on Project Lancer.

In answer to your question, it's cheap because you never get any product delivered. Read around the US forums. How many people there actually own head lights made by CinCity? Common sense question really.

Set of halogen shell headlights new is A$680.
Set of HID shell headlights new is about A$1300.

He is going to provide you a set of modified HIDs with angel eyes for US$950.

didn't you read what daniel aka Speedie had to say in the post before yours?

Numbers don't add up.

I think there is a thread on EvoXForum about one of his designers/ fitters quit in disgust and basically spilled the beans on how Nik operates.

Many many unhappy customers.. do not buy from CinCity
