My friend called me up at 2am on thursday night, said our other friend is totally wasted (was his birthday) and needs to drive him home in his car and needed me to tag along to drive him home after.

Car was a FN2R Civic Type R, so when my friend who was driving the passed out guy's car got to my place (cause he didn't know how to get this the passed out guy's house) I drove the civic. I must say in all honesty I love hondas but this FN2R was quite underwhelming. The wing is quite stupid (similar to the vrx one) but even more so. Also, due to the lack of torque it felt quite dull to drive, it would get to high speeds quick but you just wouldn't feel it...it was like oh I'm already at 70km/h? My mum's honda odyssey feels more fun. The clutch was quite shallow too which led to the car dying when I first got in. Plus the brake and acc. pedals are quite close to each other. My friend drove my car and said that it was more fun than the FN2R...

And on a totally different matter, I've changed my gear knob twice already but the other day when I wanted to put the OEM vrx one back on for change i noticed that the base of it didn't go all the way down to where the shifter boot starts? I tried twisting it a few times but it would get stuck and about a finger gap between...any ideas?
