I don't know so much about breeding contempt... maybe breeds comfort, routine, regularity… but not contempt. The same can be said of internationals, some don't venture out of their own migrant/refugee/racial communities for various reasons.

Not everyone is necessarily adventurous either, that they would go and explore all these areas, some may very well do the tourist-thing and be satisfied with it. It's a reflection of human nature that some are pioneers, some are settlers, and some are nomads.

There are gems which are carried by each, and it's in the community of them all that the treasures are found. :)

so im back in adelaide now and there is a sun! lol. for the first few days in melb it was so cloudy i was convinced melbourne didnt have a sun.

i had a really great time over there and wish we stayed for longer. there are so many more things i want to do/see/taste but just ran out of time. i will definately be coming back!

a huge thanks to the melb ccj crew for organising a meet/cruise while i was there. u guys r very nice and welcoming. thanks!

when i have a bit more time i will add a few few pics of our adventures.
one of my fav things in melb is the skydeck-highly recommend it! we went on sunset and the views were beautiful! got some really cool photos. also highly recommend the king tut exhibition that is currently running at the museum.

thanks melbourne!
