* jealous* I love my Lancer, but the Golf R was the car I wanted if money wasn't an issue....

I definitely don't enjoy hearing how good it is :P Sounds like an ace choice.

Great write-up. Glad you like your R. I agree that some of the points are things which annoy me slightly (e.g. the rattles- even from new, the satnav/MMCS is good but not up to the Germans, etc)...

I wonder what things will be like if/when you start to mod the R :)
