But I was alright. Despite the noise and the sudden drop of the car, I was fine. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw what appeared to be an open drain... I had driven over an open drain! In the middle of the city! I nervously continued on my journey expecting a sudden deflation of my port fwd wheel. But to my amazement the little CJ pulled through. When I did finally get home I got out to inspect the damage. And there it was... My brand new Lavinhard rims... have... recieved...





A small scratch it was... only a centimeter or so. But it's something I'll forever see. Now starts the downfall. But I think I'll pull through.
So if anyone is wanting to go on to the Anzac bridge via Pyrmont Bridge rd, then I beg you, stay out of the left lane, or become another victim of Sydney's hidden Pit traps.
