Looking for a place to crash for 1 night in Canberra. Nothing posh as long as it's close to 'Perth Ave, Yarralumla' as that is where I gotta be the following morning
Never stepped foot in Canberra - recommendations appreciated

Unfortunately I don't know many of my members as the Admins in other states do. Mine mostly lurk and I haven't even seen their face.
Otherwise I'd be able to give an indication of who might be in that area - as crashing at a members' home for the night would be the cheeper option by far.
How close do you want to be?
- short walk?
- decent walk?
- don't mind catching a cab?
Catch is, you see - the part of Yarralumla where you want to be there's a number of Embassies and a High Commission or two. I imagine that may be why you're going to that area. Lots of expensive land.
The only Hotel in the area (it's a long walk though I can't say how long exactly) is Posh. There used to be a cheeper Hotel in the next suburb (fair hike or spot for a cab) but it closed down a couple years back and the site is still being redeveloped last I saw.
When do you need accommodation for?
