What does everyone think of this mod todo list? (in order)

Postby Defix9 » Wed Apr 07, 2010 12:59 am

Ok so heres the mods that im thinking about doing, (in order)

Enkei LF 10 Rims in Black
Evo 10 Spoiler
Blue LEDS above the peddles along with passenger side
Some sort of exhaust, Maybe dual (looking for one that isnt so loud that you can here it from kms away, just makes a nice brrr sound)
Paint brake callipers red
Sideskirts and diffuser from the spoilershop in perth :)
Subwoofer and amps in the boot with some blue neon lights in there
Ralliart Tail lights

If anyone has any good ideas please post them! and since i will be on my P plates its only cosmetic mods at the moment, so not doing any engine mods just making my car (to be) look sick :)

Looks alright to me mate.
Maybe take lancervr's suggestion and get along to the meet/cruise. They're a great way to see what others have done with their cars and talk face to face and get opinions.

There is a lot you can do without even touching the engine.

When it comes to Amps and subs there are a lot of options. Just depends how much you love your music and how much you are willing to spend. (personally I'd budget at least $1500 on stereo upgrades.)

You don't need your lancer mate you could show up a meet as a future lancer owner :P. But seriously mate meets cruises are good and bad when it comes to mods, good as you get to see a vast variety in person, bad that your list just keeps getting bigger. I have attended two meets now and seen mods that I said I would not want, however seeing them in person I now want them :D.

Why not make your own badges? Debadge the car completely. Sound, the normal radio and speakers are good enough, everything else is just fluff and extra weight (in my opinion against sound systems).

Lower the car, does a world of difference. Black out the front bar, get some VRX clone bits and getting that Evo spoiler will make your car 'look' fast. With them wheels you after, you could have an Evo/VRX clone.

Try for something different maybe, dont try and make your car look like everyone elses.

I love the ralliart badge on the front grilles... Something extra to look at and sets it even further apart from plain cars like corollas etc.

I doubt i'll put one on mine though because I respect those who have real ones too much.
But eh, its not hurting anyone, I just wouldn't feel proud of having one on a non-ralliart.

Have you considered some springs etc?

Suspension mods are the most fun imo.
