firefox frezzing up on cj forum Apple update a fake????

Ok this has happened a couple of time and only on some post when i open a post a apple update window opens that quick time need to update to 7.6.6 and firefox freezes up.
Now i have apple update software which i have run and there is no update using that software
now when i CTRL/ALT/DEL and end firefox then reopen firefox and the post reopens as firefox was close down there is no update window and post and firefox is ok
Just woundering if anyone is haveing same problem and weather it a hack or virus
im about to do a full scan with virus scan post if find anything

Could be a corrupt file entry. Usually easiest way to fix it is just to uninstall and reinstall.

ok after going on my 20 km walk i pluged my ipod in to download Nike + info and itune has a update as well so checked my apple update software and there is a update for itune as well as quick time so i guess it ok to update
will do this later as i have over done my 36 gig quota for the mouth
