Wanting to modify

Hey, im fairly new to the site, but have had my lancer for almost 3 years. I have the standard ES Sedan, but got alloys and a spoiler thrown in when i bought her.

Im wanting to start modifying the car a little bit, but am unsure on where i should look around to find bits and pieces to do so.
I already have white halogen headlights (wanting the blue colour but these will suffice for now)

Also thinking of putting in a different stero unit if its at all possible, and just other little bits and pieces.

Firstly, Welcome

The first thing ill point out is the Bluer the headlight the more illegal it is

On the other note, have a look at wheels, lowering, engine, exhuast... there is no place you SHOULD start, it all comes with time and experience

Im hoping to find the lighter blue colour halogen globes in SuperCheap Auto or somewhere, but havnt been able to find them yet.

Best cheap mod is a strut brace in my opinion. Really improves the way the car handles.

Try also posting in the SA section see if any members want to purchase the same product ie: 4-2-1 exhaust headers or filters. you might strike a deal and be able to save on shipping. If your really lucky you might get enough people for discounts for bulk (sometimes over 5 is enough)

yeah if your going to buy lights, go with Xenons 6000k, not too blue maybe a tinge but looks great at night
also a front strut bar, you will defs feel the difference in handling maybe 10-20% better..

stereo depends on whats your budget, i picked up a Cadence X1 sub n amp package for $250 at JB HIFI or even a KICKER sub n amp for around $300 and plus installation your looking around $100 on top

if your looking for performance or sound, start looking into a Cold Air Intake (CAI) or a Short Ram Intake (SRI) for better acceleration and gives a nice roar to the car..
let us know what your budget is and ill tell you whats the best thing for your lancer ive tried so many things LOL

I mainly am wanting new headlights due to the fact i have one thats badly scratched, and a cracked bumper thats gonna have to get replaced. So at the same time, im thinking of making the replacement bumper a VR/VRX one so i also get foglamps too....

They would be LHD headlights I would say.No good for RHD

Thats fine, gonna order the kit from that Mars website in Melbourne soon enough. Saw that the wiring and button comes with it.
