Please let us know when your coming and I can arrange a meet with the SA peeps. Would love to catch up :)
We are always up to showing interstaters around, along with an excuse for a good pub meal somewhere

Hey, can you pull me off the list for tuning? I've had some bills come up and I won't have the first half by the due date. Sorry.

The more I think about this the more I want it

Are there anymore details we can get about the tune? What exactly is it doing?
By getting extra tourqe down low and midrange rpm are we sacrificing anything up top? Are there any negatives at all?

I have seen no negatives at all.

There is more power up high and low.

Better economy.

Wow I just checked the original post and 6 members have paid their deposits. Well done.

This is going to be a big weekend of tuning.

Cant wait, hope to put an exhaust in before and install the newly acquired coil overs before the tune.
BC Racing Coilovers, 3in Turbo back Exhaust, Merlin Tune.

Once you go black, your endlessly cleaning that.

LOL, set the coilovers to full soft please and work up from there.
Most setups I have been in are set way to hard for street use and the car just skips around not getting good road contact.

Are those dates correct 10-12 of April? As that is a Sunday to Tuesday.

Can I ask that all cars booked for tuning be fueled with 98 octane fuel, from either BP or Shell.

Please avoid Caltex, as I have had three cars for tuning this year that were fuelled with Vortex98 that were definitely not 98 octane. Noticeable knock was evident and the ECU was interpolating into the LOW octane fuel and spark maps.

When the cars were re-presented with true 98 then there was no knock issues.

Probably sourced from a different location?

After the tune is done with 98, is 95, e10 (94/95 rated), or even standard unleaded able to be used still with benefit? I realise that 98 octane is better, but even now it has been up to 25 cents a litre more expensive than e10 etc. Also 98 octane isn't always available, and if it is since it is up to 25 cents a litre more expensive the turnover would be much lower. It may be the reason for the pinging with the Caltex 98, fuel becoming stale?
I might add a pic of my car once I style the exterior a bit :).
