I guess it's not often you see these sorts of events often in SA. Good spotting Evan. I'll put this up in the news for visbility. Hopefully a few SA peeps can make it a nice outing which would be different from the usual CCJ events held in SA.

Steve Knight Racetech announce their first club class entry for the 2012 Tuner Series today; and, yes you guessed it, it’s an Evo!
Driver, Lucas Khawam, has grown his driving experience through multiple time attack racing events, and is looking to build upon his consistent lap times this year. Lucas believes that the 2012 series club class is a fantastic entry point that suits and caters for his level of modifications and experience.
His bright yellow Evo 9 has also steadily developed from round to round, and since last year, SKR has opened up the engine performance to produce some very impressive dyno numbers. The 2 litre MIVEC 4G63 features a healthy fruit basket of aftermarket modifications, such as exhaust, turbo and cams, all fine tuned by SKR on E85 fuel.
As the vehicle is still a daily drive, Lucas has retained full internal trim but with the addition of multiple safety gauges in order to monitor the essentials while pushing hard on track. Come March 12th, Lucas will be leaving the road tyres at home in the shed and plans to circulate on Toyo R888 semi-slick tyres to maximise grip and ensure the best lap time possible.
Recent convert John Crebbin returns to Time Attack in 2012, once again driving his Renault Megane RS250.
After an initial taste at Round 4 in 2011, the chic French sportscar is back to carry the torch for FWD. Reasonably sharp out of the crate, the completely stock "daily driver" will this time run Hankook Ventus RS-3 tyres (from club sponsor SA Motorsport Tyres) in an effort to lower lap times and be more competitive in the newly formed Street class.
With Mount Alma and the other local hill climbs ahead, it's a good opportunity to try out some higher spec rubber and improve driving technique in the safe, controlled environment that Time Attack offers - and it's a lot of fun too.
