I may actually be about to trade in my lancer for something... Well, faster.

Test drove her tonight, and no, its actually not an S2000 haha (not a bike either though).

Could be a fortnight away still with the public holidays etc.

Ok, jap 2 seater can be a convertable or hard top and not turbocharged a Toyota supra non turbo, Toyota mr2 or Mazda mx5?

Well not sure if you'd consider an MX-5 a coupe, since its hard top is still detachable.

I think it will be a newer car, otherwise the obvious route would be a turbo.

My vote is for 350/370z

True, but mx 5 is a good handling chassis, missed the Nissan options there

I didn't get to do the 1000m, had to leave on the Saturday night because I snapped my gearbox crossmember :/

Only got 1 run of the 800 and I was at 260ish according to the speedo.
