well apparently the BRZ will be comin here according to subaru aus wesite... so might wanna wait and see the subi pricing and kit as compared to the toyota....

They're going to be limited numbers even compared to the toyota from what I hear...

I think of it more as a toyota too :)

I was tempted to trade the Z4 for one but I decided against it, every man and his dog are going to buy one or atleast want to buy one, my z4 has roughly the same kind of figures anyway.
On the upside there will be HUGE aftermarket modding routes for this car and it'd be fun to mod :D


I think the base BRZ is going to be +5k on the top tier 86, so about 40-45k?
Personally I'd take a toyota any day :)

Toyota owns part of subaru too :P

I heard that toyota and BMW are going to make a car together next. Should be amazing (and maybe that'll make you happy Graham? :P)

Don't get me wrong, the FT86 makes me happy, just not as happy as a Z4 :P

what i meant is, go have a look at one, the body panels are stamped "Subaru"
the only Toyota bits are the badges and the injection system

argh went to start my bike after work and instead of sounding like a nice scream it sounded like a low rumble.. sounds like one of the cylinders has shat itself :(

managed to ride it home, if i took it over 4k rpm it sounded like it was gonna explode though ;\

time to pull apart the engine and take a look lol.. hopefuly it's jut a spark plug but they're fairly new iridiums
