It was so cold this morning the centre display went yellow and said "Possible icy roads". Haha first time I've ever seen that!

It freezing this morning wasnt it? Must've been colder up there, didnt get that display this time, I think if its down around 3 degrees or lower it comes on :P (know that from going through Collie) havent had it come on for temps above 3.

LOL, yes guys the "beware possibly icy roads" warning comes on at 3 C and below.

I saw it last few winters when it was cold like this and I was driving late at nite.

I went from Busso to Collie not long after I got my car, ended up with the warning about 3 times because the weather fluctuated between 0 & 4 the entire way.

Had to get a chisel to lightly chip off the ice from my windscreen this morning :P

In other news, got new internet today! Now I'm with iiNet (screw you Telstra), and I have 3.93Mbps download speed!!!

Jealous of the internet speeds.
We just recently upgraded to 100gig/month but I only get about 650kbps downloads max. Thats enough though to not have to wait for anything (youtube for eg) so its alright.

Edit:
And yet, look at this:
Image

That doesn't seem right :?
And why does it pick Adelaide for me lawl.

Also:
I got Ocarina of time 3D. Its pretty damn good. The 3D can be a bit funky and can make my eyes blur sometimes, but you can turn it off for a bit of a break so its all good.
The controls are very good (don't need the stylus, none of that 'flick to slash' BS). The controls are basically exactly the same as they are on 64.
Some things seem a tiny bit buggy, as they've made a few tweaks to the game. They haven't changed the story at all though, which is good. I can't even remember the things I thought were buggy, so they're not game-breaking (maybe 'messy' is a better word).
I haven't noticed any changes to dungeon layouts or anything yet either (although I heard water temple has been modded a bit, which is where I'm up to).

A cool feature is you can move the ds around to aim with your bow/slingshot/hookshot OR use the control stick. So for simple stuff you can just use the stick but for minigames you can put your serious face on and stand up and aim by spinning around like a tool :P

The graphics haven't improved as much as I probably expected them to but they are still much nicer on the eye, and much less fuzzy than if you got your 64 out and played it on a flat-screen.

I'd say if you have a 3ds, BUY IT. But if you don't, then a 3ds probably isn't worth the $9001 unless you're a big zelda fan (cos theres not much else to play on the 3ds right now).

yeah I dont think I an justify spending that much money on a 3DS just for one game :(

That probably means we aren't having a cruise soon? Are we picking our stuff up from you then?

Graham -

the Neck Socks work great!

i dont know if you get the Magazine over in WA but there is a Pommy Bike Mag called "fast bikes" if you keep a eye out for the mag they often have some freebies, so far i have a Neck Sock, Visor Cleaner, Pocket toolkit, luggage net, balaclava and a few other little things
