Haha not to worry, it was on the second York cruise and I was alone on the way to the Riverside Drive carpark meet point at 9:54am :)

I didn't go on that cruise because I got flashed a week or so before, so this increases my odds of the fine not coming! :)

Fingers crossed, I'll be a very lucky man if it doesn't.

Hey Jake,

Were u flashed by one of the new laser cameras???
Can u actually see a flash like u could on the old multanova's???

I went thru one 3 weeks ago this coming monday and havent gotten a letter yet so hoping I wont at this stage.

i think I was doing maybe 5kmh over in a 70 zone going down a long gradient when I suddenly saw the damn thing. Was well within range by the time I took eyes off the speedo, looked up and and saw it.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the letter if they are going to send one???

I got flashed by a fixed traffic light camera so I couldn't tell you.

FLASH-FLASH as it got front and back. Its been nearly a month.

Edit: Now that I think about it, even the old cameras don't flash to measure your speed, they only flash to take the photo for evidence. Even without knowing, I'd have to say the new ones flash too.
If they didn't flash (from a 'notifying the person they've been caught' perspective) there'd be a heap of fresh controversy about them just being revenue raisers rather than making people slow down.

Jealous!! I'm due for a new phone too. Was going to get the Legend, but I thought I might hang onto my phone for now and wait for prices to come down or for an even better phone :)

By the time the 12 contract is up i'll have only paid about $300 for this phone... I'm only paying $10 a month more than I was for my old phone bill.
Phones themselves are nearly free as long as you're ok with being under a contract... To buy this one outright would've been around $700 I think...

And lol another iPhone already? Why don't they just make them better instead of less often? They're just out for money...

Anyone have a 3DS yet? Had mine since it came out and it is incredible! Well worth the money.

Does anyone know if there are speed cameras at night or not? Also, is it true the tolerance for speeding is 1km/h in WA?
