I want an s2k...
Theres a lot of complications with getting one though (eg I can't be without a car, they're seemingly always private sales so no trade-ins), and I'm starting to worry about the insurance... I think it might be beyond ridiculous.


On an unrelated note: A colleague at work has a stock TDI Golf. Over the xmas break it cracked a piston so now he needs a new engine and transmission (apparently theres a recall on his transmission anyway) :lol: but its still just under warranty... Otherwise he said it would be something like $7k.
I think he earns similar to me as well (re: stuff-all) so that would be a catastrophe to have to pay that :P

May as well go all out! :P I could definitely see you in a Skyline, you strike me as the type :) Why not get a cheap bike in the meantime? You can easily get a Ninja 250R for 3 grand. ;)

Get a few quotes for the insurance? I find AAMI to be the cheapest for any insurance. Holy crap that is a lot to fix his cracked piston :S Poor guy! Better hope the dealer will honor their warranty on it!

hahah is that because im from eastern Europe decent, "all wogs drive skyline" hahaha :P maybe.. not anytime soon though :(

The golf is already getting fixed... Hes driving a kia in the meantime :P

I've kinda gone off bikes myself... Maybe when I have my own place lol.

I'd love a bike... Parents tell me I have to move out if I get one though (they have a solid hatred for bikes)

Completely fine with me having a 600hp Supra though..
