Just a thought, the air intake you can DIY. No point paying a wrench monkey A$100/hr to do something you can.

If you have the right tools, you can lower it via springs or coilovers yourself.

Tuning can be done remotely via Merlin as well.

Only the exhaust will require a professional.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what do you mean about the tuning can be done remotely via Merlin?

what suburb are u in Cam?

springs arent too hard if u have a jack and a socket set, u may/may not need a rattle gun which can be hired, an electric one, bout $40 half day.
takes about 2 hours i guess.
youll need a wheel alignment after it imo.

tune and intake u can take ofeys advice.

u can talk to us sat. night at the photoshoot if u wish :)

Merlin is a member of this site who wrote the tuning guide which is extensively used by open source tuners.

You will need a couple of things to get your car tuned via Merlin.

1. Join as a premium member. Even if you don't, Merlin charges you A$40 more (which in truth is a premium membership). The cost of remote tuning is A$200 I think.

2. You will need to purchase a Tactrix Cable. That's also about A$200 delivered. This will allow you to log your car's performance when driving. It will also allow you to read your ROM and flash it back once Merlin tweaks it.

and

3. You will need to be willing to do power runs on the freeway. A power run is usually done in 3rd gear (in CVTs, you can also do this by switching to sports mode) and going wide open throttle on a flat straight stretch of road. This is done till the car sounds like it needs you to shift.

The Tactrix cable will log all your data and you send this file to Merlin thus the remote logging idea. He will then be able to tweak your ROM file to tune your car.

I might add that its best for you to make all the changes to your drivetrain first before you get a tune done.

No point tuning to the parts now on, then when it changes, your tune doesn't consider all the improvements.

For e.g. the air intake using the stock intake snorkel is NOT the same as using a RA snorkel.

If you have a performance muffler such as the GReddy, it's more free flowing than the stock muffler.

Buy your K&N online.

I think its A$90 delivered online.
If you walk into any of the local auto shops, it's closer to A$120.
