Is it just me, or does this new "concept" from Subaru look a little familiar...

Poaching a few ideas from the competition much?

The sides look lancer-ish but I don't see lancer anywhere else in the design...

Oh well, was just me then :P I thought the headlights look very similar, albeit jazzed up.

So in other news, my engine started making funny knocking/tapping sounds yesterday. Called out the roadside assist today to have them check it out as the oil is fine and it was just serviced last month...so they tell me to have it towed to the dealer just to be sure... long story short i was told it was "normal operating noise" and then slugged 130 bucks for the trouble.

Meh, if they're wrong they'll pay anyway. My question is, if it's "normal" why wasn't it always there? I know it wasn't.

that concept looks terrible, hopefuly they reface it :\

ask the dealer if you can test drive a RA they have there and compare the noise to see if it's normal or not, works better if they're with you driving the dealer & your car. arguing with dealers can get you nowhere though, they'll say anything to get out of issues sometimes :(

happy christmas eve everyone :)

I have seen this on a few cars now, where they don't have visible exhaust tips, just kind of a gap in the rear bar. I hate it! The exhaust tip can be a major styling point and can really add to the look of a car, and they are simply getting rid of them...hopw it doesn't catch on and become the norm...

Apart from that I don't mind the concept, but then stuff knows what the real deal will end up looking like! Take a look at some of the mazda concept cars and you will be left thinking "why didn't they do it like that?"

Well, I hope everyone has been nice this year (or at least fooled santa into thinking they are :P) and has a merry christmas! *smow* (couldn't find any x-mas related emoticons :()

Full ralliart kit with the wheels and bonnet, full rockford system including MMCS... It would actually be worth it for that price.

But yeah I doubt it'll sell...

Cmon guys you've been quiet for a while now :(

I'm thinking of getting a motorbike (how original I know haha). The more I research about it the more I want one.
I chose one I like and could afford by the time I'm off my car P's, and then the next day (today) I parked near one and stopped next to one at traffic lights.
Totally a sign. :D

Except its a hyosung I like, which seems to be about the bike equivalent of a hyundai, but meh. Haters gonna hate

Seems to be the trend in WA atm...

Well I have always had a thing for the Kawasaki Ninja, no small part of that is because it is called a ninja :D

Tbh I've never heard of hyosung...but then there are lots of things I've never heard of and they are still just fine :P

So I have a theory, that someone, somewhere is controlling the rain in Perth so that it only rains when I wash my car. I have had the car since August last year and I have never washed my car without it raining within the next 3days...:( Luckily today I beat the curse because my boss was out so I stole his undercover bay!!...and then got hit by the sprinklers when I got home...I can't win...

Hyosung are quite new (they're a korean maker) and their bikes had lots of issues to begin with but the newer you get the better they are. So their negative reputation is well founded but a lot of people can't admit they're getting better. But it means they're cheap which is what I need :P From what I hear they're the biggest and comfiest 250 sport bike too.

And I like ninja's too but they seem a little expensive and uncommon, but I haven't been looking at bikes for long. I think spending too much on the first bike (restricted to 250cc) is pretty pointless. I pretty much want a comfy bike that looks cool lol (cos whats the point of a bike if I'm embarrassed by it/hate riding it).

And my car is currently filthy. I was driving around last night and everywhere had sprinklers on. None of them ever point at the grass.
You drive down manning road at midnight and the whole road is just wet. Its pathetic. And its been like that forever.

for the "hyundai" of bikes, that is hot!

I love the sport bikes, hate cruisers though...

Jake you have the right idea though, get something that looks cool while you are limited to 250cc so you can still impress the ladies

once you are free to get what you want, that's when you spend up big and go for speed, so you can really impress the ladies :P
