Illusiv Oz - Sunday 9 November

Premeet:
I'd suggest the Caltex on Ipswich road cnr Ekibin Road at around 1.30.

I can't attend the pre-meet as I've been invited there is a separate pre meet at 12.00 as these cars set up first.

Attending:

Mits / Sean
Cutlets / Lance
Gorzee / Goran
Noisemaker / Daz (new car ooooo :D)

Well QLD we have two events in one day. It seems neither willing to change dates. Which one do people want to go to?

This looks like its going to end up being similar to Downshift.

This event is open to JDM / ADM turbocharged/supercharged or modified (to be determined by their admin)

PA Hospital Carpark top 5 levels.
2PM to 5PM
Wolseley Street Entry
$5 per person

The top level will showcase the hand picked street cars by their admin. The usual promo girls, BBQ, DJ etc

The usual rules for these types of events apply, no skids, no engine revving or excessive noise. No warnings anyone not following will be told to leave.

Open to any cars.

Same rules apply.

Food, Drink, DJ, merchandise as per usual set up

Personally I'm leaning to support new event, they chose this date first to I believe. Would like to see what turbos rocked up 😀

I have never been to a downshift meet plus i would prefer to stay away from PA as I have been there alot lately

Thanks Mitch, Thorsten, Lance, Darren, Stephen.

Downshift seems to the fav. I will prob attend both. Stephen I can meet up with you but may be later if downshift is the favourite. Not attracting great numbers here which is a shame or I'd say feel free to organise a pre meet yourself or I'd be happy to lend a hand.

I voted Illusiv, Last Downshift meet was full of [censored] who did skids as they left and almost hit spectators and their cars along with the usual large police presence outside of the gate.

I havnt been to a downshift meet in ages. Curious to see, is there a pre meet happening ipswich way or somewhere outside of rocklea? Im coming from toowoomba thats all.

Well the split it pretty close to 50/50 at the moment.

I'm going to Illusiv Oz taking up an offer of being able to show my baby girl off on one of the top floors *biggrin1* (roof top and few floors below are invite/reserved spots only). I'm pretty excited about this event and promoting the Club from this elevated and somewhat special position.

I can't guarantee I'll make it to Downshift however I'm happy to arrange a pre-meet etc for those that want to go.

Although I did vote Downshift, I may be leaning towards illusiv. I'm more interested in catching up with other members from here. Is there any 'choosing' process or any certain guide lines to park up with the best? Id be keen either way.

Hey Sean - isn't it hard to drive with the bonnet in that position, or do you peer throughout the bonnet vents as you're driving along...? :-P
