Ofey, Steve.. I passed on to Tryg that you thought of him (although he is an ex-member, as you stated). Although he works here in Canungra, he raced home to his family in Toowoomba. He also has properties there.

Because some of us in the military have been mobilised, I think he is staying up there and will assist up there if required.

He appreciates the thoughts and also wishes all in Brisbane (Ipswich) and river surrounds all the very best of luck.

@ToyLancer: Thanks for letting us know. I'm sure I echo the thoughts of many other members here who know Tryg that our thoughts are with him.

It's great to see the club rally behind everyone. It really is a testimony to the community that we have here.

We've already shown that we will do what we can to help, let's hope and pray that things will subside sooner than later.

AJ and i drove through toowoomba coming home from melbourne and it was thundering down then. that was 5 weeks ago.

1 problem is that the ground is saturated, it wont soak up anymore :(

just called tryg, they (a few military) are helping out up there, but it's fairly well managed now

roads are still blocked in all-four directions out of Toowoomba and all the roads up the range are washed out (massive damaged)

he said now the supermarkets have been stripped of many fresh foods, i guess you say panic buying and no trucks to fill the shelfs have been able to come.

i think the term is salt in the wound.

I am waiting for a call up but haven't heard anything yet (I am ex-PAF now Reserve posted to 382ECSS). What is Tryg's surname? Is it Tryg Fisk? I used to work with a Tryg but not sure if its the same guy.
