If anyone should have been high it should have been me from the burnt plastic smell in my cabin through the day. Marcus, we can rule out Steve's car, it happened on way home whilst following you also. Happens under acceleration. I did a quick seach and the Evo forums came up with Transfer Case leak onto the exhaust, seems pretty common. If it is hopefully it's fixable because otherwise that would make my 3rd or is it 4th transfer case (i've lost count). Or could just be a bit of plastic stuck somewhere but I have been unable to find anything, had another good look when I got home.

My place got hammered by storm too. Flash flooding in back yard AGAIN, home just in time to start digging trenches. I got drenched!!
No more jokes about rain from now on from me.
