Longish Cruise. 2 boarder crossings lol

then we can split up here.
Roughly 560km trip and about 7 hours non stop. So iam thinking a break mid way through around the kyogle area (not looked into it yet)
Road wise until tenterfield iam not sure about it but the trip sticks to major roads so no back roads, and roads not abused.
We have twistes and long hwy roads. There will be some epic scenery for photo shoots and to just gawk at plus those lovely shops in small towns they sell great food.
Iam no suggesting we do this next weekend but maybe it could be the cruise of the year.

I used to run to and from Armidale for Uni and that's 5+ hours (from Northside) on a nice easy drive - The run down to Stanthorpe is a little mundane... Probably made up by the run East to Casino - that road looks good.

The majority of this tour's time would be the trek from Stansthorpe to Casino and then back up to Kyogle.... I would suggest to try and get to Casino for Lunch...?

The roads back North from Kyogle are tight and twisty, and hopefully you'd miss the horrid sections of the Mt. Lindsay Highway back to Beaudesert. Like driving on a washboard in some places.....

I like the weekend stop-over idea too... Maye head to Armidale...? The drive North East to Grafton from there is an awesome drive dropping the escarpment to Dorrigo and back North through Casino & Kyogle.

Ok so people seem interested which is good.
Now iam thinking a mid stop/sleep at tenterfield is the perfect place
Accom is from about $99 to $130 just a rough glance. But if we rock up with 5+ people iam sure they could hook something up on price wise.
Fuel wise i think we are sweet as caltex has fuel stations the intire route

Now what's a good time with everyone. Me personally iam thinking around august
