That's it........I give up.......
Went to Blayney, in the pouring rain, on Thursday so I could get past Bathurst and western Sydney before they had any trouble. Friday afternoon we went to Canberra. Interesting trip with roads getting closed behind us as we went pretty much.
Drove home from Canberra on Saturday after a quick visit to the Chief of the Defence Force Parade and our son who just started at ADFA. We would have loved to take him home with us for the night so he could get his car but we couldn't because the roads were cut. His car is still stuck in Blayney because I couldn't drive it on Friday in all the flooded rivers and creeks and stuff. The whole trip up the coast (we had to go up to Sydney so Hubby decided to drop me home in Gloucester and then try to get home to Blayney Sunday the other way)
Anyway to the Queensland bit.......
On Wednesday I am supposed to be driving the Lancer to Brisbane for my daughters 18th Thursday.
Just can't damn well win can I. Last time I went to Queensland it flooded down the New England and I had trouble.
*stomps off screaming at nobody about silly rain and floods and cyclones working against me.......
