NSW XMAS event.

As per our event calander, late Dec looks a bit empty. :(

I've been wanting to fit in a Xmas event:

So.... i was thinking maybe a go karting event at Minto Karts and then dinner. It gives the option for people that want to do 1 or both events.

Being that Minto and Campbelltown are not that far apart from each
other, I'm thinking as per LZY_EYE's suggestion - maybe a feed @ Rashays?

I'm open to all manner of other suggestions and format of event. It doesn't have to dinner, it doesn't have to be karts. So please forward your ideas in this thread or suggestions to improve this.... we can work on majority concensus...

So what dates would be good for people?
I know that time of the year is crazy busy, people going away, school holidays and the like. I'd also like to nail dates and bookings in well in advance as you can appreciate, whatever we end up doing, things need to be booked and committed to in advance.

Early Jan - Mini inter-state/territory meet. Let's visit Uncle Rick (ScraverX) and other ClubCJ.net ACT members in Canberra. The only twisty roads down there are roundabouts.... :( - depends on EOI level.
26 Jan - Australia Day - Anyone interested in a ClubCJ BBQ - Perhaps a cruise and picnic up on the Hawkesbury/Wisemans Ferry?

February 2012:

NSW Yearly ClubCJ mega-meet. SAM-24A set the standard last year and we got a record attendance.

We need 2 cruises to cover the lovely summer months in Mid-Oct/Nov/Mid-Dec. Suggestions?
RNP has been done to death. Something different and original if possible.
Kiama has been suggested in the old threads.

Christmas Eve i'm always with the family having the annual dinner and whatnot.. perhaps we could do it before then?

What we do doesnt really bother me, im happy with anything :)

Many cultures like me celebrate Xmas in the 24th
Also like many people in retail, apprentli Xmas is one of the busiest time for retail...
What happens if the Xmas meet is 1-2 wks before the 24th???

sorry... my bad. :( I should've been clearer and not posted in haste. Just been a bit pre-occupied with other things lately. I intended to convey something sometime on Decemeber as the scool holidays start, quite flexible on the dates, but something that will suit most people, and avoid the crazy rush.

maybe we could organize a night cruise at rnp or something. havent been there for such a long time starting to miss that place. as it will be at night, there will be no people there and just go in for a leasure drive. probably reach stanwell look out then stay there for a chat then head back?

Cruise and big ass BBQ
Meet and whatever/dinner/bowls/karts/laser skirmish/paint ball/whatever random thing you can think of..... erm CCJ group skydive :P
