I'm also very busy in Dec ... every weekend .... 4 Family Birthdays before X-Mass.

Starting with this Sun .... my Mums 85th birthday ..

I'll try though, depending on which Venue & weather Sat or Sun.

Looking at the votes though, wouldnt people rather pick the easiest option for them, instead of picking what they would most like to do? I mean I'd love to do all those events, but just due to my time schedual the Appin option would be the best use of my time...

Sundays are the most available for me at the moment, except for Dec 18, i have plans.

Looks like a BBQ at Centennial Park, then.

Dates? It can be before or it can be after Christmas, there is not hard and fast rule that it has to be before Xmas. Many people will be having weekdays off for the 3 days (Wed, Thu Fri) between extra Christmas public holiday. So we can do that? I was thinking of having a "Show & Shine" meet that week 28th-30th Dec anyway, but we could combine it and get a bigger turn out?
I'm open to any suggestions...

The dates Ryan posted are great for me at the moment, or 28-30th.. doesnt bother me. After new years will get a bigger turnout though

Hmmm maybe not make it a "XMAS" thing and just make it "just a gathering" to welcome in the new year or just Australia Day!

I would'nt contemplate on having the Gathering on "Australia Day" Thursday 26th January .... too many members may be invloved in Family commits.

Perhaps the Weekend following Aust Day woud be more chancable .... however the days between X-Mass & New Year still look most Favorable.
