I'm not familiar with the area. If you have a road we can go on post it up. Just beware, the two road I have try both have road closer (complete blocked off)

This the road I wanted to take. But the road is completely blocked NSW

If you want scenic roads, stick to the southern areas of Wollongong. I'm not great with creating the maps. But follow princess hwy till the airport,
Turn right onto Illawarra hwy
Right onto tongarra rd
Continue onto Illawarra hwy
Up the pass
Left onto Sheepwash rd
Left on Nowra rd
Follow to Bomaderry/Nowra
:)
I've driven this route both ways several times.
Yes there will be weekend drivers. But you can pull over and talk to each other. Night time can be dangerous with animals on the road.

I usually do the big rd trip when I head down that way but I leave early. I go through the royal national park and head to Albion park, up the Illawarra highway and mac pass, get a Robertson pie and come back down through either kangaroo valley or jamberoo mountain rd and then have another run up the pass then home. I usually pull over at the bottom of the pass for a while if there is traffic.

Either of those ways is fun but both are downhill in that direction and can be very hard on the brakes. Mac pass can get a lot of traffic but I guess with the amount of people on the cruise we will have our own traffic anyway.

Lol yer we will make a traffic, and as for brakes if we all be careful and use our gears and avoid over use of brake we will be ok :)

Or we can go on the Illawarra hwy then the princess hwy to kiama. Or go alway down jambaroo rd . But yer I'm all for the one I posted before, this looks more fun

You should go that way on your way home chris. You get to use the throttle more in between corners rather than brakes. As long as you don't get stuck behind a truck or something but there is a couple of overtaking spots on the way up. Can't remember if there are on the way down.

I would suggest that route on the way home. Not as many spots to over take coming down the pass. And the pass is not worth driving down, too hard on the brakes

It's a cruise so no need to over take considering we will have a lot of cars and if people start overtaking other cars that's we when loose people. I will not be hammering it no need for it
