Well what a great day and a record attendance to boot. I would like to start by thanking Sam (Sam-24A) for organising a truly awesome day, I knew with Sam behind the wheel every little detail would be covered and it was. Sam thanks very much for the oil cap mate it is now pride of place in my engine bay, it was very unnecessary but truly appreciated.
I would also like to thank our Mystery guests for coming along, Ben (bd-850) and Troy (aspir3). It was great to see you guys again and and it was a shame that Troy had to leave early to catch a flight home. An extra special mention goes to Ben who was stupid enough to drove 930km+ in one day for the BBQ, Ben not even I drive that far in one day for a BBQ
Of course a big thanks to goes to all the members who turned up on the day. 32 cars WOW it is great to see how much this club is growing and the wonderful range of members we have young and old, male and female truly a diverse crowd.
Finally I would like to award Steve (Sleeper) the Golden Gerbil for humour. Mate what awesome execution of a prank.
Let me fill in blanks for those not present. Prior to our meet QLD held the ClubCJ record (the nation met in Melb) at 28, still not sure how that works Steve :P. Anyway at about 11am some strange person comes walking across the park with a plant in his hand asking for "Sam 40 Lancers". Turns out the plant was a rather nice looking Cactus with a little sign attached that read "sit on me" . The only clue we had was a phone number we later discovered that the number belonged to our Qld Admin.
Well done Steve, and remember NSW has the record now :P:P:P
Regards,
Nathan (Chubb)

I have to mirror the comments of Nathan, and Chris.
As an ex Admin of the club, I was quite proud to see how many people made the effort to come along.
It is great to see the club moving forward, and the support is great.
Good work Sam on the meet, you thought of everything, and because you couldn't fit the kitchen sink in the car, you brought along detol instead!!
It is nice to have attended another record breaking meet
