Minor scratch on my car

Postby sleepy » Mon Nov 21, 2011 6:35 pm

Hi all,

I recently managed to trade a bit of paint with my mates car who did some dodgy parking, and I had some bad judgement on my end, and then yeah..

I ended up with a scratch and some small paint chips on my car:

I was wondering where I could get this done cheap at a place that can replicate the colour or if anyone had black touch up paint lying around, or what I would need if I got black touch up paint myself (brush type?) ?

Cheers for any help

(this is also my first 'run' into someone/something)

Thanks Dave. Had a look and looks like I'll go with them.

All the best with your new lancer also when you get it. :)

If I do buy some touch up paint, is there a specific brush I can use to do the job right?

I would just polish out as much as possible. If all that is missing paint then I would get it repaired properly. That is not a touch up job.

Tried to polish off as much as I can. The 2 round paint chips that you can see in the pic are missing paint so i guess I'd go with what Dave suggested above then...
