Tint Wizard North Parra - Anyone used?

Postby falcon15500 » Thu Mar 03, 2011 8:59 am

Hey all,

I am in the market for some tint for my new car. A work mate mentioned a place called Tint Wizard in North Parramatta. I have emailed the place and have been quoted $295 for their top of the range darkest legal tint.

Has anyone on here had tint done by them? If so, how do you rate it?

M.

Okay, just in case anyone wants the info for later. I went ahead and got my tints done there. They were quite good, keeping to the time they promised. As mentioned I paid $295 for darkest legal, top of the range tint. Tint looks great, no issues with it so far.

$295 sounds pretty pricey though- on par with what I paid at Solartint back with my Civic (circa $260).

For the Evo, I personally got recommended to a guy called Martin from Ground Zero Tint in Blacktown by a LOT of people on a LOT of forums. I'm very happy with his work and he was honest when he said that if I were to tint the factory tinted rears again, it'd look noticeably darker than the front and look a bit 'unmatching' if that was what I was looking for. Also saved me money :) Anyway, just try Googling "Groundzero tint" or "Ground zero tint" and you'll see he has rave reviews on numerous forums, and is a car enthusiast himself (previously owned an S2K, Evo, etc).

Can you tint over windows that are already tinted but in a darker shade?

Presume you mean in a lighter shade? Yes you can but I wanted to keep it legal this time.

Is there a website for ground zero? I want to tint my front windows to match the rear privacy glass.

you mean lower.. higher the percentage in tint is the lighter the shade / how much light gets in..

looks like groundzero's website is down but if you just google groundzero tint you will find all the details etc on various different forums..

If you already have tint on your car it'll probably cost you more since it needs to be removed.
