Bathurst 12 Hour. 4th - 6th February 2011

Came across this on the OZMPS forum and i thought why not us, we can all go and support the EVO X's racing.


The Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour returns to Mount Panorama over the period 04 to 06 February 2011, supported by four standalone race categories. In 2011, GT vehicles will be eligible thus showcasing the likes of Porsche, Ferrari & Lamborghini alongside BMW, Mitsubishi and Holden in an expected 40+ car field. Last year, the Queensland BMW Car Club had all the bragging rights with the BMW 335i being victorious – who will it be in 2011? As per previous year’s, car clubs are invited to attend the Event though a special offer providing a dedicated area to display your vehicles and watch the action. Benefits include:

1. A complimentary 3 Day Season Pass for the Driver of the Vehicle

2. A complimentary copy of the Official Programme for the Driver of the Vehicle

3. Reserved area to showcase your vehicle in Harris Park (bitumen)

4. Opportunity to participate in parade lap of the Circuit on Sat 05 Feb 11 during the scheduled lunch break

Note: The above package of benefits apply to Car Clubs providing a minimum of ten vehicles

Info:

1. Any passengers in vehicles will be required to purchase an event ticket either in advance (www.ticketek.com) or at the Gate (advance daily tickets start at $15)

2. Camping is available at the Circuit for $50 per site (10m x 8m) with showers, toilets and security patrols (book through www.bathurst12hour.com.au)

3. Bathurst Township is less than 5 minutes drive from the circuit with a bus service day and night

4. The Top of Mountain is accessible for viewing on-track action during daylight hours daily

If I was avail on the 4th of Feb I'd be there!!!

This is a good way to support te EVOx's for sure!! Back in 2009 they dominated the podium with a 1-2-3 finish overall classes! And Eric Bana was in one and finished 10th overall classes.

Kudos to Ben for getting the info for sure!!! Really hope to see this go through!!!

But there are no EVO X's running this year, just a EVO 9
