I read somewhere that the turbo is too powerful for the standard engine. You need to do some mods to the block etc as it is rated at 40% more than what the engine can handle as stock standard.

lol he said i can do whatever i want, just that turbo is affecting the normal performance of the engine, IE doing what it was not designed to do

Not really hey. With that turbo kit, u can run at 0.4 - 0.6 bar boost without problems on the 4B11. However if u want more boost u will need to upgrade the internals. Its like any turbo. Even a tiny little turbo can blow an engine if the bar is set too high for what the engine can take at the moment.

i agree with maverik... here at the states they say that you can maybe run it at 8lbs of boost as a daily driver... if you want more boost then you would have to change all internals.

i'll say budget out about AUD$10 - $12K at least. this will make room for your turbo + safety electronics + install + tune + brakes + RTA certification, AND... any mishaps...

but in the end, you'll have something that would eat a RA in a straight line... but of course, you'll die in corners... ;)

PS: minus out $1 - $1.8K from my estimate if you're installing the kit and brakes yourself.

PS2: Frank is also selling custom forged internals, such as conrods, pistons, and crankshafts... that would allow you to up the boost to around 14 - 16psi... or higher...
