The 2008+ Mitsubishi Lancer Magnetic Car Bra Hood Mask is made from a safety-coated, flexible magnetic sheet. It is UV-resistant vinyl on the outside and magnetized rubber underneath. This material is also used for magnetic car signs and the seal around your refrigerator door. The safety-coated material was designed to be used on cars and after many years of use it has been proven to give problem-free service with almost no maintenance.

Conventional Car Bras can damage your paint. They trap road grit, which will scratch and eventually wear through the paint. They also get wet, and, as the water dries, it causes the paint to oxidize and fade. This damage can only be repaired by repainting the hood. It is difficult and time-consuming to clean road grit and then wait for the bra to dry. The only way to prevent damage from long-term use of a conventional bra is to clean and dry it frequently - as often as every few days.

The flexible Magnetic Bra sheet forms a tight seal that keeps out water and grit. It will not cause abrasion or oxidation. The Magnetic Car Bra can be left on a car permanently with only a few minutes of maintenance per month. All that is required is to wipe underneath with a damp cloth - once a month, that's it.

The Monsoon Magnetic Car Bra has a patented design that makes it theft-proof and secure at any speed. It uses a durable U-shaped edge trim that covers the leading edge and sides of the bra. This prevents wind and water from forcing their way under the bra at high speed and prevents removing the bra without opening the hood.

Flexible magnetic sheet precisely follows the contours of the hood. The finest detail will show through. It will make your car look great, on or off.

i think they look better than the "normal" car bras, but i would only have it on when i go for long drives. and its easier to put on than the other bras. and it covers where 99% of my stone chips are

I'm not really sure what that bra is for????? What is it protecting??? Wouldn't the one that goes around the headlight front be better for avoiding stone chips??? It seems like it protects only a little section that shouldn't be getting much damage in the first place!

WHOA.?

- That sort of looks awesome.? 8)

- I'm definitely *interested* ... Depending on fit.?

I have a Ralliart ... How does this fit the RA with the " Bonnet-Vents " etc.?

Comparing the 2 pics, I would say it would fit but can't be sure. Might need to contact the supplier and double check I think.

Would it stick to a RA Bonnet?? Yours are alloy and the Lancers isn't

From current experience, where the cover is, is exactly where the stones hit. The plastic bonnet protector would be missed by the stones that I have tagged so far.
How the stones that hit the bra behave would be interesting, as at speed without it the stones bounce off the bonnet into the windscreen. (only managed the one thats left a decent chip so far)

Edited for punctuation even I had issues rereading it...

"Insert" alloy is still a metal. The actual word alloy means its mixed.
i.e. Titanium alloy might be 90% ttanium, 10% something else.

Ralliart bonnet is aluminium as far as I know, which isn't magnetic - so it won't work...

if the car bra is just magnetic, won't someone just be able to rip it off?
