perhaps a DIY Day as well, as i had a look at the instructions, as ive been considering these for sometime, but it looks faily complicated.

a DIY day with someone who has done it could be good :)

A DIY day sounds good, I have done it but with help from Ben so I'm happy to help out in anyway, even if it means I have to drag him with me :)

if he is the one that did the electrics, he has no choice :)

lol, you used an oven right? what size?

reason being i maybe able to do it at my place.

my house is backed onto a massive paddock, so we could bring one car into the garage, do what we need to do, take that car out, then do the next, and away we go ...

but i do live in cranbourne.

and i onl have a normal 60cm wide oven.

Not entirely since you will have to remove the front bumper to get access to the head lamps so we can't well leave the cars out without the bumper.

One more buyer please!

Technically if you were able to drag him along, that'd be massive REP points for you Bron.

How would a DIY day go down? Because to be honest I wouldn't be able to install these myself.. but i've seen a pair in real life and it looks awesome. So yeah not too sure.

They're not hard to install, it just takes up heaps of time taking the car apart and then getting into the headlights

How can these be wired?
Ie. they turn on with parkers and stay on, or can you have an override switch and how hard would it be to put in?
Anyone here know?

Ben, Bronica's better half told me at the last meet where to source the ignition wire. It should be tied to them so they're ALWAYS on as per Beamers. At least I'd do it that way.

I used clear Liquid Nails to make sure they'd stay where I put them

I would have liked taking the 5th pair but...

1. I'm sceptic with the fact that the front bumper has to be taken out before the headlights could be accessed. The airbag sensors may get affected and could go as bad as not deploying during an accident or deploying unnecessarily.

2. Modifying the electrical system may void warranty and become an insurance issue.
